Not Averse
the morning after
I’m searching for a word
amongst the wine stained lips and glasses,
teabags gone furry in the heat,
an empty bookshelf
what remains
three years in boxes.
I want to take this moment and fossilise it.
forgotten quotations unpeel from the wall
glide down.
